Fall Favorites

Image found on bing.com

Summer is officially gone for the year and the season of fall has arrived here in North America.  Are you a fall fan? I’m super sad to see the warm temperatures slowly fade away but I love Halloween and Thanksgiving, then soon it will be Christmas and snow isn’t far away.

What are your fall favorites? My blogger friends and I are listing some of the things we love about this season and maybe some new things we want to try.

Do you have any favorite fall traditions that are a must do activity? Fall Festivals are all around and always fun to attend. My favorite is browsing through all of the arts and crafts. They make perfect Christmas gifts.

White water rafting is a popular outdoor adrenaline pumping outdoor activity here in West Virginia and in the fall, certain dams are released, making for an even more intense adventure.

If you have read my blog in the past, you know Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year. I love doing fun, green screen videos with my students and Halloween makes the perfect theme. I haven't sat down and decided on what I'm going to plan this year but I'm sure I'll come up with something spooktacular.

Fall foliage is gorgeous here and WV offers many different scenic drives for this.

Here are a few pictures I have taken over the years.

Although I am not a fan of the cooler temperatures, I do love a warm campfire and s'mores! Fall is a wonderful time for them.  At Halloween, I've seen families who set up a campfire together and tell ghost stories as they pass out candy to to all the Trick-or-Treaters out that evening. That sounds like a fun tradition to start.

Do you tend to read more in the fall and winter months? I do read many books throughout the cooler seasons but summer is when I really make a dent in my tbr pile. Of course, I love a good spooky mystery in the fall. I'm in search of good read, or maybe I'll reread one of my favorites from Ann Charles, Terri Reid, Tonya Kappes, CC Hunter, Jana Deleon, of Carolyn Fardig. I may even have to go old school and read some Goosebumps books! Any good spooky books you recommend?

Happy fall, y'all!!
