A Whole New Year

As we say goodbye to the year 2021 and hello to 2022, I wonder, do you make New Year Resolutions?

Me, not so much. I will however think about some realistic things I would like to try and accomplish, like, finish five illustrations by the end of summer or create at least five blog posts.

I think for most of us, the last few years have been different and more stressful than ever. I do try to think of everything I'm truly thankful for through the hard times though, which helps with the stress.

This year, I want to start it out with some fun and inspirational quotes. I don't own the rights to any of the images, they were all found on bing.com and I don't know if the quote was actually said by the author listed but I'm not too concerned about that anyway.

Enjoy! 😊

Happy New            Year!

  1. I don't do NY resolutions, either, Rebecca, but I quite like the idea of casual promises -:D. Heading into another Covid winter in '22, all I want is for family, friends and the world, to stay healthy, have a roof over the head, and keep striving for kindness and joy.

  2. Love, love your quotes encouraging us to stay hopeful, grateful, and look forward. Like Cat, also like the idea of "casual promises" with no obligations. Less pressure! Thanks for sharing!

  3. Fabulous choice of quotes Rebecca. Neil Gaiman always shares some pearls of wisdom, his is my favourite quote here. Like the others have said, casual promises are much better. I hope 2022 is good to you. xx

  4. These are great, Rebecca! I don't make resolutions, either, but like to think about things I'd like to accomplish or try new activities.
I hope you have a wonderful 2022! You are halfway through your school year and I hope it goes fast for you so you can get back to your books and art projects.
